LavigneHalfway between Sudbury and North Bay, Lavigne is a tiny fishing paradise, nestled in the west arm of Lake Nipissing. Walleye, bass, pike and musky abound in the west arm, and resorts like Lucky Strike offer harried urbanites a slow, scenic alternative to city life. Located on Highway 64, just south of Highway 17 which connects Sudbury to Ottawa, this tiny town has everything you need, so long as your needs are not complicated. Many of the locals are Francophone, so brush up on your bonjours. Useful InformationThere’s a general store, beer and liquor, take out pizza, a tavern, and a French fry stand. |
